Ambaa Gold began with one workbench, two brothers and a conviction passed down four generations — that a gold ornament should carry the soul of its maker, not just the weight of its metal.
A Kalbadevi beginning
In 1999 Mr. Manoj Jain and Mr. Bharat Jain set up their first workshop in Kalbadevi, Mumbai — the historic heart of India's jewellery trade. The brothers came from a four-generation family of goldsmiths and built Ambaa Gold around a single principle: every piece must be touched by a master craftsman's hand.
Scaling without losing soul
Through the 2000s, Ambaa Gold expanded its retail partnerships across Maharashtra, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. Even as order volumes grew, the brothers refused to industrialise the craft — every commission still passes through the artisan floor before despatch.
A modern atelier
In 2015 we opened a dedicated manufacturing facility in Mumbai with an in-house CAD studio, casting suite and stone-setting lab. Three years later we opened our Warangal branch to serve our southern partners closer to home.
A family business, still
Today Ambaa Gold supplies over 500 retail partners and exports to GCC, US and UK markets — but the company remains founder-led and family-run. Every major decision still passes through Mr. Manoj Jain and Mr. Bharat Jain.

Mr. Manoj Jain and Mr. Bharat Jain open their first workshop in Kalbadevi, Mumbai with three karigars and a single casting bench.

Ambaa Gold begins supplying showrooms across Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh, building its reputation for honest weights and on-time despatch.

Bridal & temple specialisation
Investment in heritage research and master karigars positions Ambaa Gold as a specialist in South Indian temple and bridal jewellery.

New manufacturing facility
A purpose-built atelier in Mumbai consolidates design, CAD, casting, setting and finishing under one roof.
- 2018
Warangal branch opens
A branch office in Warangal is opened to serve Telangana, Andhra and Karnataka retailers more closely.

Ziva Jewels launches
Ambaa Gold introduces Ziva Jewels — a retail-led, design-forward sub-brand for the modern wearer.
- 2024
500 partner milestone
Ambaa Gold crosses 500 active retail partners and begins regular exports to GCC, US and UK markets.
