Daily Wear Gold Daily Wear
Lightweight 22K and 18K gold built to survive constant wear — chains, studs, rings, bangles and light pendant sets.
Bridal jewellery is worn for a day and kept for a lifetime. Daily-wear jewellery is worn for a lifetime — which is a far harder engineering problem.
The fastest-growing segment in Indian gold retail is not bridal. It is light, wearable, affordable gold bought by working women and younger buyers who want to wear their purchase to the office on Monday. This category is built entirely for that customer. WHAT THIS CATEGORY COVERS Chains from 4 to 12 grams in cable, rope, box and singapore links. Studs and tops from 2 to 6 grams in plain gold, CZ and certified diamond. Single bangles and slim kadas from 8 to 18 grams, sold as singles rather than pairs. Thin bands, casual rings and stackable rings in 22K and 18K. Light pendant sets from 4 to 10 grams with a chain and matching tops. Slim mangalsutras and karimani chains for everyday wear. Minimal contemporary pieces in 18K aimed at the 5,000 to 25,000 rupee retail band. ENGINEERED FOR CONSTANT WEAR Every design choice here is about service life. Gauge is increased at stress points — bails, clasps, ring shanks, bangle joints. Stones are recessed below the metal line so they meet a desk edge second, not first. All edges are rounded so the piece does not catch on fabric. Screw and push fittings are thicker than the trade norm. Solder joints sit away from flex points. None of this is visible in a photograph, and all of it is the reason our daily-wear pieces come back for cleaning rather than repair. 22K OR 18K We manufacture both and advise honestly. 750 hallmarked 18K is harder, holds fine settings and resists scratching, which suits rings and stone-set daily pieces. 916 hallmarked 22K carries the colour and value retention Indian buyers expect and performs well in chains, bangles and studs. Many retailers stock 22K traditional forms alongside an 18K contemporary line and let the customer choose. QUALITY AND HALLMARKING Every piece, at every weight, carries BIS 916 or 750 hallmarking with HUID before dispatch. Weight is verified twice and printed on the invoice. Finishing is a full multi-stage polish, because a lightweight piece with a shortcut finish looks cheap immediately. BUYING INFORMATION FOR RETAILERS Minimum order is 50 grams and parcels can mix categories freely — a first parcel might contain four chains, six pairs of studs, two bangles and three pendant sets. Making charges are quoted per gram by category. Gold is billed at the day's rate; see our live rates page. Monthly replenishment parcels, dealer pricing and pin-code exclusivity are available through the dealer programme. WHY THIS CATEGORY GROWS YOUR FOOTFALL Daily-wear brings customers into your showroom outside the wedding season and turns them into bridal customers later. Retailers who keep a well-stocked daily-wear wall report materially higher repeat visits than those stocking bridal alone.

Frequently asked
What counts as daily-wear gold jewellery?+
Lightweight pieces built for constant wear — chains under 12 grams, 2 to 6 gram studs, single bangles and kadas, thin rings, and light pendant sets. Construction matters more than motif: rounded edges, recessed settings and reinforced joints.
Is 22K or 18K better for daily wear?+
18K (750) is harder and resists scratching and stone loss better, so it suits rings and stone-set pieces worn every day. 22K (916) is preferred in India for value retention and colour, and works well for chains, bangles and studs. We supply both.
Why does daily-wear need different manufacturing?+
Daily-wear jewellery takes constant knocks against desks, bags and children. We use thicker gauge at stress points, recess stones below the metal line, round every edge, and reinforce clasps and bails — details that add nothing visible but roughly double service life.
What is the wholesale minimum for daily-wear jewellery?+
Daily-wear parcels start at 50 grams and can mix chains, studs, rings, bangles and pendant sets, which makes it the easiest category for a new dealer to trial.
Do you supply light-weight jewellery for younger buyers?+
Yes. Our lightweight 18K range targets the 5,000 to 25,000 rupee retail band that first-time and younger buyers shop, with contemporary minimal designs alongside traditional motifs.
Is daily-wear jewellery hallmarked?+
Yes, without exception. Every piece regardless of weight carries BIS 916 or 750 hallmarking with HUID applied before dispatch.
